This weekend sees all three senior teams in action, with home games for our 3rd XI on Saturday and 1st XI on Sunday.
On Saturday, our 3rd XI take on Bacup at the Cliffe looking to bounce back from two defeats over the bank holiday weekend.
In one change from the selected side, Matthew Oddie comes in for the injured Aftab Hussain.
Our 1st XI welcome Haslingden to the Cliffe on Sunday, and make two changes from last week’s derby victory over Rishton. Chris Oddie will keep wicket in place of Allan Armer, and Sohail Ali comes in for the first time this season having been in fine form for our 2nd XI, Adam Masood misses out, and can consider himself unlucky to do so having impressed in each of his appearances so far this season.
Adam will instead travel to Haslingden with our 2nd XI, who look to regain their spot atop the table after last week’s defeat.
Geoff Allen will captain the side, whilst Mark Leach returns and in form spinner Amaar Ali (14 wickets in three games) retains his place.
All three games start at 1pm. The bar will be open from 12:30 for the duration of both Saturday and Sunday’s home games.
