In line with the Government’s Roadmap out of lockdown, our opening times next week will be as follows:
- Friday 16th – 6:00pm to 9.30pm
- Saturday 17th -Noon to 8.30pm
- Sunday 18th – Noon to 8.30pm
Opening times for future weeks will be published in due course
In order to support our reopening, we need to make it clear that our opening is based on all rules and government guidelines being adhered to at all times. As such, all members and visitors must take note of, and fully comply with, the following:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”container”][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Track and Trace
- Everybody attending Great Harwood Cricket Club is required to comply with the requirements for venue check-in, or we may face a £1000 fine.
- This is done by scanning the QR code displayed on all outdoor tables, then filling in the required details. You can also “check-in” using the NHS COVID-19 app.
- All visitors are required to check-in to enter hospitality venues, not just one per group.
- If anyone cannot access the NHS app or check in using the QR code, you should send the full name and contact details for any such individuals by text or WhatsApp the club number that is noted on all hospitality tables
- Anyone who does not comply must be refused entry and refused service.
Hospitality Service Areas
Service will be outdoors only, please remember there is no shelter if the weather is bad.
We have designated specific areas for hospitality service. These are:
- The front terrace on the east side of the clubhouse
- The balcony on the west side of the clubhouse
- The patio area directly in front of the front terrace
- The benches along the ground perimeter to the bottom of the car park
All seating areas will have table numbers, which you will need when ordering food or drinks.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Hospitality Service – Rules and Restrictions
The guidelines dictate that food and drinks can only be ordered and consumed whilst seated.
Anybody in the hospitality areas that are not seated, or participating in organised sports (covered under separate rules) must wear a mask or face covering.
National social contact rules apply, meaning a maximum of either 6 people, or people from 2 households, can be in a group.
Government guidelines on social distancing must be adhered to at all times whilst on Great Harwood Cricket Club premises
Please avoid any close or physical contact with others (e.g. shaking hands)
Do not move furniture around – it has been positioned to support social distancing
Please observe and adhere to all signage when moving around the ground
Keep children seated when in the hospitality areas, and supervise them during toilet visits
The clubhouse toilets will be available, and accessible via the front door. Face coverings must be worn within the toilets and customers must sanitise on entry and exit from the building.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Hospitality – How to Order
The club operates ‘Challenge 25’ in terms of sale of alcohol, so if you are fortunate enough to still look young, bring your ID
To complete an order, you MUST first have completed the Venue check-in for Track and Trace
To order, you must then send a message via either SMS text or WhatsApp to the Club Hospitality number, which is printed on the table laminates. The order message needs to include your full name, your table number, followed by your order. The message will be received by our bar staff who will then deliver your order to your table.
If you unable to do this, please speak to a member of staff. Do not enter the clubhouse to do this.
Please Note – There may be slight delays in receiving your orders given the requirements to serve to your tables. Please understand this when making orders – our staff are working hard and also having to adhere to a different set of rules around handling and sanitisation to keep you safe.
Payment should be made if possible by cash on delivery.
For members, and those with bar cards, a tab service will be available for the duration of your stay. This allows you to settle your bill at the end of your stay by credit/debit card, and benefit from your membership/bar card discount. Should you opt for this payment method, you may be required to enter a card payment zone within the hospitality area. Face masks must be worn when in this zone, and all social distancing rules must be adhered to.
At peak times we may ask you to share your table to maximise occupation, if you feel uncomfortable doing this, please let us know, your comfort and safety will be our first priority.
All of these measures are being used to reduce the potential for spread of COVID-19[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
A lot of work from volunteers has been completed over the winter to upgrade our facilities and more recently to open these facilities in line with government regulations at significant time and cost. As such, we would remind you that bringing your own alcohol is prohibited, under the terms of our license. Please refrain from doing do, and purchase from us, or go elsewhere.
Foul & Abusive Language will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
