Our second XI travelled to Todmorden and were well beaten. Fielding first, we started well with a few early wickets from David Kendal, including 2 in 2 balls. Unfortunately we subsequently let the pressure drop in the field and were left to chase 220.

In response, we got off to a steady start with Seb and Jack opening. However once the first wicket fell (Seb to a one in a million run out), a remarkable batting collapse meant the rest followed soon after. We were bowled out for a meagre 47 with Leach the not out batsman. On to the next one.
