Having won the toss and (not) surprisingly opted to bat, in went Santa and Dr Ali to open.
A good solid start with some exquisite cover driving from Santa before the doctor left the surgery for 20 odd.
In came Ethan and the scoreboard ticked over nicely before Santa had to leave for the North Pole.
In strode the skipper, but soon after Ethan was out, quickly followed first ball by Seb, leaving old timer Houldsworth to face the hat trick ball. A short long hop was hit straight at the fielder who very kindly let it go through his hands for 4.
Russ didn’t last long hitting instead of eating a pie down cow shot’s throat.
Wickets fell regularly until the league’s finest number 11 Bottom Whiteheads came in to take the score past 250.
Harwood’s bowlers then bowled their usual array of wides and long hops to get Milnrow off to a decent start before regular…ish wickets fell leaving them needing 10 an over.
Despite some lusty slogging they fell 60 odd shy of the target leaving us with 10 points, though if the skipper could catch at slip it might have been 12.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”3848″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]
