Great Harwood Cricket & Sports Club Partners with Her Game Too

Great Harwood Cricket & Sports Club is delighted to announce an official partnership with Her Game Too Cricket. This collaboration marks a significant step in our ongoing commitment to ensure that cricket at our club is inclusive, respectful, and open to every woman and girl in our community.

By signing this agreement, the club is committing to a clear set of standards aimed at further developing our culture and facilities. To support this, we will be implementing the “Driving Change” guidance, developed by Her Game Too alongside the ECB. This provides us with the tools to offer the best possible support to female players, volunteers, and supporters alike.

We have already seen fantastic momentum through ensuring our All Stars programme is inclusive for both boys and girls and the growth of the Harriers Women’s team. This partnership allows us to build on those foundations for the long term.

The club committee will be working closely with our dedicated advocate – Megan Longworth, throughout the season to put these plans into action. We want GHCC to be a leading example of inclusivity in the region, ensuring the game we love is truly a game for everyone.

We are proud to stand behind this initiative and look forward to driving positive change together.
