Great Harwood Cricket and Sports Club Unveils Refurbished Commercial Kitchen

Great Harwood Cricket and Sports Club is delighted to announce the completion of its commercial kitchen refurbishment project, made possible by generous contributions from our 120 Club and a substantial grant of £20,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund. The total project cost exceeded £25,000, demonstrating the club’s commitment to enhancing its facilities for the benefit of its members and the local community.

The refurbishment has transformed the kitchen into a modern, efficient, and safe space, equipped to meet the demands of a busy sports club. The project not only improves the club’s catering capabilities but also enhances the overall experience for users and visitors.

The club would like to extend its sincere gratitude to all local businesses that supported this project through our 120 Club. These included, Whalley Catering Ltd., I & J Savage Electrical, MED Plumbing and Heating, A1 Skips and Josh Joinery. Their contributions were instrumental in making this refurbishment a reality.

We also wish to express our heartfelt thanks to John Seedle, who volunteered his time and expertise as project manager, ensuring the project’s successful completion.

“We are thrilled with the outcome of this significant investment in our facilities,” said Stuart Maher, representing Great Harwood Cricket and Sports Club. “The new kitchen will enable us to provide better services to our members and the community, further establishing our club as a vibrant hub for local activity.”

The refurbishment is a testament to the power of community support and the importance of investing in local infrastructure. The club looks forward to continuing to serve the community with its enhanced facilities.
